Running a paratransit company comes with its share of risks. You are in the business of helping people but you have to prepare for the unexpected. Your passengers are handicapped or have special needs which creates additional risks and responsibilities.
You also need to determine how much coverage is enough. There are a number of factors involved: how many drivers you have, the number of customers and the length of your routes. Our team is made up of experts in transportation insurance who can help you evaluate the special risks you face running a paratransit company so you have the right insurance, the right company and the right amount.

Coverage Options
Comprehensive insurance protection designed specifically for your transportation operations.
Auto Liability
The foundation of any commercial auto policy. It protects against financial loss if you or your drivers are found at fault for an accident that injures others or damages their property.
Required by law for all commercial vehicles. Limits typically range from $750,000 to $5 Million depending on vehicle capacity and regulatory requirements (PUC/DOT).
General Liability
Protects your business from third-party claims of bodily injury or property damage that occur on your premises or as a result of your business operations (non-driving).
Crucial for slip-and-fall accidents at your office, advertising injury, or customer property damage not involving the vehicle itself.
Garage Liability
Essential for transportation companies that maintain their own fleet. Covers liability arising from garage operations including vehicle maintenance and repair.
Includes Garagekeepers Legal Liability to protect customer vehicles in your care, custody, and control. Hired & non-owned coverage also available.
